Gadget gives cops quick access to cell phone data
The "Universal Forensic Extraction Device" is an amazing gadget, enabling a user to copy all the content in a cell phone --��contacts, text messages, call history, pictures and even deleted texts -- within a few minutes, according to its manufacturer. Its powers to search are so comprehensive, the ACLU wants to know how the Michigan State Police are using their units.
